Great product, compact, quiet, does the job, I use it to connect a Wii via SPDIF to a Yamaha receiver that doesn't have a regular stereo input associated with component video (I use the Wii component video cable adapter) inputs or a way to associate such inputs (piece of c..), This allows my Wii to deliver 480p which makes a BIG difference on the upconversion that A/V receivers do to 1080p through an HDMI output

This is used by me to connect my laptop via an SVGA to HDMI adapter. As the laptop does not carry sound through the HDMI wire, I use this RCA to link to an adapter. Installation is easy and straightforward. The sound quality is good, however it can sound a bit flat when using it to play audio through windows media center.
