great if you are just starting as a personal trainer

This book is great if you want to start as a personal trainer. If you've already established your business, it won't be of much use to you, except maybe for the ideas on how to promote it.
The book explains in detail all the necessary steps to launching a personal trainer business, from 'is this for you?' to how to get certified and what type of certifications you will need. It also offers useful tips on how to promote your business and, probably the most important, it gives you all the business forms you will need. This alone is worth several times the price of the book as having them done by an attorney can be very expensive.

This book has so many spelling and grammar errors it was hard to get through. It wasn't very informative and the $80 value of business forms promised is not worth it. The pages in the book are so small that if you wanted to try and copy one of the few forms that are in there, it would be almost impossible to make it look professional. Furthermore, the author gives you a website to go to to download the forms, however he doesn't bother to actually send them to you. Not impressed at all. Definitely not the way to run a personal training business!!
