My wife and I both found this book very useful when we began learning dingy sailing. It enabled us to re-inforce our practical learning on 'dry' land.

Very useful little guide for my son who has completed his RYA Stage 2 and is now sailing solo. Small and compact so can be carried and consulted on the shoreline.

This book accompanies the RYA basic sailing courses. It is excellent for those starting out sailing from scratch, with all basic sailing aspects covered, including all terminlogy to help you understand what the instructors are talking about! This book should not be read without doing some actual sailing however - it all makes sense once you have been on the water.
