This little book should be on the shelves of anybody who loves Sci-Fi and Fantasy for the joy of feeling wonder. If you have ever felt that the world could and should be a happier place, then this one's for you. Like ET, it takes the story of alien contact with us poor unenlightened humans and shows us what a gift it could be.
It's an unashamed love story and tearjerker but doesn't fall into mushiness.
A shame Dan Parkinson didn't follow it up.

This book is an all time favorite in the Scifi/Fantasy Genre.
I've reread this book more than any other. It explores why we as humans seem to be lacking some necessary element to be complete. And delightefully supplies that element.
