great bike! arrived within a week. assembled within 40 minutes (pretty easy, good instructions and all the tools included). it's very quiet, and tells you all the facts and figures you need (although i wish it was in miles rather than kilometres). it's not too big or heavy. the seat is slightly uncomfortable after you've done a few miles, i recommend a cushion! brilliant value for money though. it's a nice touch that they include a battery for the monitor. tip; the foam is really hard to get onto the handlebars- use a wee squirt of fairy liquid!

Unfortunately, after spending about an hour and a half building the bike, there was something wrong with the resistance wheel, it had a kink in it and didn't cycle smoothly, so we dismantled it again and sent it back. It looked ok, not too build and bulky, but it didn't feel like great quality and the resistance mechanism seemed pretty rudimentary. Wouldn't recommend it, probably better to spend a bit more - get what you pay for.

After looking at cycle trainers I realised they were expensive for what I wanted would use them for(general exercise rather than training professionally) so I decided an exercise bike was the way forward.
I was pleasantly surprised with the price of this bike. After reading the reviews I was unsure whether or not it would be a gamble but I figured for the price it was worth a shot. I was able to piece it together myself-note I was counting the screws/nuts to start with and thought some were missing but these were on the bottom of the bike seat so check these first.
With regards to the other reviews, washing liquid on the handle bars was a good tip, the seat was a little uncomfortable after a while(40 mins) but this varies on the person and I find any bicycle seat uncomfortable after a while.
Resistance easy to adjust. Have used bicycles at the gym and while this doesn't feel as sturdy-I know I definitely would not pay an extra £100 plus for the priviledge.
Overall-worth the money, a great little bike thats easy to put together and easy to use.
