You see a lot of reviews on here slagging this product off, in all fairness what do you want for the price, if you are comparing it to a gym bike then that is not really a fair comparison given that they cost around £1500. On that basis this is 5% of the price but about 65% what you need which in my eyes is pretty fair!!!

Pros -
Easy to assemble
Handy Trip-Computer
Great Price
Looks good

Cons -
Velcro straps become very lose very quickly and cause your feet to come off the pedals at anything over 40Kph

Top Tips -
As many other reviews have said, when it comes to applying the handles, use some hot soapy water and just allow for the fact, it will take 5 minutes to get them both on, but... persevere!!!
Start your pedaling at a low tension, once you have got going and your happily pedaling away, then increase whilst on it, otherwise it can be slightly lethargic and feels as though you will never get a smooth rhythm going

Overall its less £70 and it gives you the chance to enjoy a bit of exercise in the comfort of your own home

Finally, don't be put off by people saying the tension is poor, i am a 24 year old male, BMI of 22 (so not big but not a twig) and on the higher end of the tension with a sustained half hour workout, you will feel it!!!

great bike! arrived within a week. assembled within 40 minutes (pretty easy, good instructions and all the tools included). it's very quiet, and tells you all the facts and figures you need (although i wish it was in miles rather than kilometres). it's not too big or heavy. the seat is slightly uncomfortable after you've done a few miles, i recommend a cushion! brilliant value for money though. it's a nice touch that they include a battery for the monitor. tip; the foam is really hard to get onto the handlebars- use a wee squirt of fairy liquid!

Positives are that it does the job, and it is not expensive,
downsides are the rubber handles are not as seen on the picture, you have to put them on yourself and the material rips.
The seat height doesn't quite go high enough so the angle of your knees is not correct, this is obviously dependent on persons height, to give rough idea I'm about average 5"6, when using bike for 30mins the left pedal (metal) gets hot..
Otherwise, it is great fun and does the job,

At first I thought it was great value, however I have only used the bike about 9 times and even when the dial is turned to full resistance it pedals with barely any resistance at all. Waste of money, very disappointed.

I purchased this bike to replace my magnetic exercise bike which broke. Not having the best budget I got this due to it's price. Assembling this bike is tedious, especially screwing the seat together because the tool supplied doesn't fit under the seat area properly to bolt the screws on, you can manage it, after a while and some cursing!

After it's all put together its a nice bike, light in weight. Using it, starting off it is a jutter machine, but thats because it has no magnetic wheel inside, it's movement is like the old fashioned bikes of the old days. What I don't like is the position of the pedals, they are directly under the seat forcing you to lean over the bike, where my last bike the pedals where slightly forward. It is very quiet and should not disturb anybody in the house. The seat is a bit of an a**e breaker so put a cushion on it or something as it can become uncomfortable after a while.

One other thing, regarding the calorie counter which comes in a small white box, another cable is used to be inserted inside the column the handlebars are attached to, however this is not inside the white box with the calorie counter like you'd think, instead it's inside the packaging of the column of the bike, making you think it's missing, so fish this out first saving hours of frustration later!

I got this just as an easy way to keep in shape. as its a cheap exercise bike, you get what you pay for. the seat is very hard, no cushioning what so ever, its the same as sitting on the floor, try sitting on a pillow to see it if helps. also the friction from you pedaling causes the pedals to get really hot, which is worrying. but if your ok with a rock hard seat its fine for about 30mins exercise aday. on the plus side its easy to put together (apart from the foam handles are tricky to get on. i had to grease up the handle to slide them on.) it was delivered on time. looks good in the corner of my room. and is ok for a short evening workout.

The bike is sturdy and easy to assemble, but the main and crucial problem is the resistance is terrible. It keeps stopping as it doesn't use a chain but some other mechanism which is terrible and very very difficult to cycle. Would not reccomend.

I am very pleased with this bike. It was very easy to assemble - even for my husband!!! Only the handlebar grips were a bit difficult. When reviewing this I read that a lot of people found the saddle uncomfortable. They are right! It definitely needs some padding, or maybe it's me that could do with a bit more padding. After a couple of days use I was very sore - I won't go into more detail. However, despite this, it's a nice bike, good value for money. Interestingly I keep getting details of bike seat covers for sale.
