Lori toured this country with the eels, and I think she was intended to break up the in-your-face irony of the eels. She did this and so much more, I fell in love with her music, to the extent that not a day has gone by since the gig in March when I haven't listened to this album. Her voice is haunting and the melodies are infectious, whilst Breathe is just plain disturbing! I recommend this album to anyone who is into Beth Orton, Kristin Hersh et al.

excellent album from a singer/songwriter not really known in this country. But take a listen to this, from the beautiful Take your Time to the sublime Caroline, just relax and melt into these melodies. It has something special. Buy it.

Took this CD on hols with me - great to just lie on the beach and turn on. Really like 'Take your Time' and 'Stars'. Bought it on a whim but I recommend buying it if you're into Beth Orton or Katherine Williams.
