5.0 out of 5 stars Stars Aboard, 16 Jan 2004
By K. V. Saker (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought Stars Aboard at the Boatshow as a present and wish I'd got one for myself!

It's amazing to see so many stars of silver screen, high society, sport and even royalty from 50 and 60 years ago in relaxed or informal pose aboard the great Cunard liners of the time. There's Elizabeth Taylor, Marlene Dietrich, Clark Gable, Charlie Chaplin, Winston Churchill and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother to name a few. It's a lovely collection of photos with a short biography of each star and anecdotes from their time aboard.

Well worthwhile and I'd recommend it whether you're a fan of ships or just interested in celebrities of yesteryear.
