Fun:
Forget about namby pamby plastic guitars this baby is the real thing!!!
It's full size - just like a real guitar

It has a quality body, neck and headstock - just like a real guitar

Fun:
OK so I'll start by saying that I had intended to buy the LogitechLogitech Wireless Guitar (PS2/PS3) guitar but then while browsing I noticd this. The price was a lot lower for what seemed a much better piece of kit.
The guitar was very well made and felt great to wear. It is much more of a real guitar than the plastic toys that you get with Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
Playing the guitar is where the problems start. You have to press much harder on the buttons and after a few minutes my fingers were throbbing, even tough I am used to and play electric guitar. Th strum bar was still very noisy and I found it way too small. The whammy bar was spot on though. Also the lack of a d-pad was very irritating although it did make the guitar more realistic which I think Peak were aiming for.
In the end I sent this guitar back because it was impossible to play due to the fact that the strum bar was registering hits when I wasnt touching it although I think, and hope that this was just a fault with the particular guitar I bought.
Another thing which bugged me was that the shape was the run of the mill Strat which has been done to death.
So if you are wanting a better guitar for yor game I say pay the extra and go for the Logditech.

Just a quick note to say that if you're in two minds whether to buy one of these items or not, you will not be disappointed if you do so. It's a quality piece of kit and has rekindled my waning interest in the guitar element of the RB/GH games (have been playing plastic drums instead mostly of late)...!!
Sure, it's a bit weighty but no more so than a real guitar (not that I have much first hand experience!) but I particularly liked the way it worked on both RB/GH straight from the box, with no messing around configuring or the like - it just plugged in and off I went.
The white plastic bits look much better in real life than they do in photographs, and the body and neck are well finished and super quality. Buttons and strum bar are all fine too, no problems there.
Hope this helps if you are undecided - it's a lovely gadget to have and the ultimate GH/RB tool (except for maybe the official Fender controller for XBOX which is $299 in the US and as far as I know not available in the UK!!)

guitar and drums fantastic
got this guitar and the ion drum set yesterday and can i just say they are both fantastic. Better than anything ghwt has done and will do. Must get better then original peripherals
