The author wrote a novel set in a different universe with aliens, spaceships, various worlds and cultures, that story was interesting and sparks the imagination. The lead male and female characters were both strong, likeable, and believable. The love that slowly developed between the two was compelling. The novel had a nice amount of spice to liven things up. This book was a great read.The lead female was smart, tough, a leader, and able to defend herself. Buy the book and enjoy. It was a light and pleasurably read. The darkest parts of the novel did not leave me feeling devastated. I will read more novels by Karin Shah and encourage anyone who likes science fiction romance to buy this novel.
