Paul McGillion reads this short story (a little under 60 minutes long) in character as Dr Beckett well supported by another actor who plays the role of Dr Gilbert.

The subject matter of a near death experience / alien encounter will be familiar to those who follow TV SciFi, that said it is very well written and entirely in keeping with the TV series.

The presentation is only let down by the sound quality of the short interview with Pail McGillion which is very poor but as this is a "bonus extra" I think the CD is very deserving of 5 stars.

Highly recommended to fans of SG Atlantis and especially those who like the Carson Beckett character.

A very good book with an interesting plot: a sleeping sickness is spreading through Atlantis and only Dr. Beckett can help. Though I have to give it four stars because in places, the background music was so loud that Paul McGillion's reading was barely understandable and the sound during the final interview with Paul was really bad too, it crackled and hissed so it kind of took away the pleasure of listening to it a bit.

Stargate Atlantis, Perchance to Dream (Stargate Atlantis)

Paul McGillion was missed as Dr. Carson Beckett in Season 4 of Atlantis, but it is great to hear him in this story and to see him in Season 5. Carson remembers going through the Stargate and howering over his body with only one person who can see him.

He has to struggle to get his body back and warn Atlantis of an Invasion they can't stop..

This audio CD delves into the concept of death, and the afterlife..
