Needed this to get a picture from my Sky box to my Archos so I could record normal tele........worked like a dream.

I use it to connect my video camera to a TV, and it works perfectly. The first time I tries it the in-laws were impressed by the picture, and I was impressed that it just fitted and worked - no jiggling required.
I wondered at first why it has that bit of cable between the two connectors instead of just being one double-ended plug, but this way there's less of a lever sticking out of the camera's S-video socket so I suppose it'll be less likely to get damaged or accidentally knocked out during use.

On some Sky boxes there is a scart socket and an S-video socket. Much easier to connect a yellow phono plug. The connector has on one end an S-video plug{not explained in advert)short screened cable to a phono socket.

Great little gizmo
I know it's a cliché but this thing does exactly what it says on the tin. It has allowed my son to play his purchased movies on his iPod onto the television. Works a treat. Read more
