Dangerously flawed1 Dec 2011

I didn't use this product right away, so I'm no longer able to return in, but the adapter I got has a very dangerous flaw.
When attempting to install a 1.8" SSD, I found that my system would not power on with the drive connected. Testing with a multi-meter, I found that the 3.3V pins of the adapter are shorted with the ground pins! This is very bad, I hope I didn't fry my SSD!

Works great. As advertised. Cant really say much else. Connector is small, and seems to be made of good construction so over time it will not fail from repeated use.

Works as you would expect. Connected micro SATA end to 1.8" SSD and connected power and SATA from desktop PC to full-sized SATA end of the converter and was able to use the SSD.
