Ill start off with the good points of this product;
It is sturdy and the pins seem to fit nicely. It came the next day after I ordered it and no damage to the packaging, product or anything else. All the pins are intact and it works a treat. I chose to order this one over the other (The other one with an identical image, but without Amazon Prime delivery) purely for the delivery option and it was £1 or so cheaper as I recall. To be honest, with an adapter, you either get it broken or you get it intact and that is how you would rate it, as there isnt much else to it. I would definatly give this item 5stars if it was not for the following....
As the title suggests, the product seems ideal for those who need this particular item. However, without realising I bought the wrong thing. As it doesn't state on the items page that the DVI-I end is female and the DVI-D end is male.
I needed a DVI-I to DVI-D Dual Link adapter. Which technically, is what I recieved. The problem is, I needed the DVI-I end to be male and the DVI-D end to be female, this is the opposite way around for this item.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DVI-I (FEMALE) TO DVI-D (MALE) - THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED.
Overall, great delivery, great product. Just not for me.
Fortunatly, I realised I didnt actually need one as I found a way in which I could work around it.

Installing the StarTech DVI-I to DVI-D Dual Link Video Cable Adapter was easy. The area on the back of a Samsung SyncMaster 220WM made it a tight fit. If you are going from analog to digital you have to load the display software disc and set your monitor to digital. If you don't set your monitor to digital your computer will be looking for an analog connection and, finding none, will give you a blue screen. I also purchased a StarTech 6' DVI-I Dual Link Flat Panel Cable to hook up a Sparkle GeForce FX5500 Graphics Card to the adapter. Both products work well.
