Hasbro start their new Legacy Collection for 2008 with wave two consisting of figures from the Clone Wars animated series. Unlike the other Clone Wars figures released this year, this wave is in the same vein as the 2003 Clone Wars wave with figures based on the characters from the cartoon but styled as if there were real actors playing them as opposed to the more `animated' appearance of the other line.
As an added bonus, much like 2006's hologram figures in The Saga Collection or 2007's collector coins in the 30th Anniversary Collection, this year they've done something better - the Build-A-Droid `Droid Factory'. Each figure comes with a component of an Astromech droid.
The next figure in the series is #10: Clone Scuba Trooper. These troopers were under the command of Kit Fisto and instrumental in the battles between the Mon Calamari and the Quarren.
The trooper has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (vertical and rotational), wrist (rotational), torso (rotational and vertical), hips (vertical), knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) articulation which gives him an ultra poseable 24 ranges of movement.
He comes equipped with a modified gunmetal DC-15A heavy assault rifle, white flippers for each foot and a white backpack with twin thrusters. The tubes from the helmet fit into small holes on the sides of the backpack.
There is also the head and middle leg of R4-J1 included. Unlike the first wave, the droid parts are not included in figures of numerical sequence. The rest of the droid is included with #09 Obi-Wan Kenobi, #13 IG Lancer Droid and #16 Clone Trooper.
Yet another great clone trooper and you'll definitely want more than one of these.
