Format:Paperback
This book contains a number of short stories which explore the lives of the unknown characters seen briefly in the Mos Eisley Cantina, visited in Stars Wars:A New Hope, by Luke Skywalker and Ben Kenobi. Each character featured in this book is in the Mos Eisley cantina for their own reason. In this book you will discover what has brought them to this "hive of scum and villainy" and how the future works out in their eyes. The stories are happy, sad, humorous, and above all very enjoyable. Once read each character is seen in a different light, and it goes to show that there is more to the smaller characters of Star Wars than meets the eye.

Good Book 18 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
This book was well worth the money and wait (though of course the wait wasn't too long, thanks to Amazons' speedy deliveries). However, it seems to be ridiculously underpriced. All the stories are entertaining, and I especially liked the way the seperate stories intertwined and were linked together.

All together a brilliant book, that I would recommend to anyone with even the vagest interest in the Star Wars universe

If you're a fan of the Star Wars universe then chances are that you have already read and enjoyed this book. Even if your not a big FAN of the movies this is a great book of science fiction. Lots of stories featuring various characters from the scene in the first movie "A New Hope". After finishing the book you will want to watch the film, just to spot the aliens that you have read about! Trust me... you will feel sorry for Greedo!!!

A really good book
I thought this book was interesting. It told little stories about things that happened in the cantina. I really enjoyed all the stories.

Sentimental and Strong Writing About Characters' Backgrounds
Most of the Star Wars books are just too juvenile for me to get into, but this book of short stories, especially "The Hammerhead's Tale", was both witty and moving.
