In the process of vanquishing a shipload of Sith from the distant past, Jedi Knight Jaden Korr uncovered the frozen results of a horrific cloning experiment: insane Jedi-Sith clones. Jaden Korr will have to hunt them down, and if he can't save them, he will have to destroy them!

Once again Paul Kemp produces some good work. His writing style is very fluid and easy to read. The way he breaks the chapters up into short film-style scenes helps keeps the book a bit more exciting than the story should have let it.

The story itself was a bit bland. It basically carries on from where Crosscurrent left off and what little plot there was wasn't particularly interesting and it was really only Kemp's way of telling the story that kept it interesting for me. As well as not really liking the direction the Star Wars series is going at this point in the timeline, I'm also getting fed up with all these Sith/weird Dark Side Force users who keep emerging from the woodwork. And please explain what the point of this "Mother" character was. Over the top springs to mind.

So although I think this is a very well written book, I personally don't think it is the best story by a long shot.

Truly awesome book. 12 Jan 2012

Sadly only a short book of a mear 300+ pages but never the less an awesome story. Sequal to Crosscurent a really good book. A must for all starwars fans, I look forward to reading about some of the characters that survive the end of the book.

A worthy sequel 19 Oct 2011
Format:Paperback
Paul Kemp has done it again and written another enjoyable and exciting novel. Continuing on from Crosscurrent this book continues to benefit from likeable, well developed characters and a good deal of action.
The book does have two faults. Firstly the idea of the main characters being stalked by a Sith minion does seem to be a rehash of first book, although that said the villain is an interesting character. Secondly a few of the twists such as the identity of 'Soldier' aren't exactly hard to figure out.
Overall though if you enjoy Star Wars this is a great read, although be sure to have read Crosscurrent first.
