Got this on a whim for my son and I have to say its perfect. It looks like a miniature lightsabre, better then most of the toys you can get. The glowing blade isn't so bright that it can be used as a torch, but is as good as a glowstick and is perfect for a nightlight for my son. It fits in his 5 year old hand perfectly and in the dark it has the exact same look as a real lightsabre. It doesn't make the sound effects and the tube isn't retractable, but saying that it looks and lights better then most toy lightsabres (I've had a few myself), and is more authentic then lightsabre torches. Used it a few times to find things fallen under the sofa, so it can be used as a torch to a limited degree. At the end of the day, my son loves it, it does what it is suppose to, it looks better then I could have imagined so I can't fault it one bit. I've even waved it around in the dark myself a few time.

just getting in front with my christmas shopping.
over the passed ten years my friend kenny and i have searched the planet for something different to give each other for christmas.
many things are bought from the pound shop as throw aways but we also buy each other products that we can't find in retail out lets.
this is one i'm sure will take pride of place next to his pc so the force is always with him.

USB lightsaber lamp

I ordered this through Amazon and Target.com. The price was right, the shipping was very fast (within a few days), and the lightsaber itself is pretty cool. The glow is nice blue, easy to plug into your USB port. The light remains lit for at least 10 min or so after the saber is remove from its cradle. But after that it automatically shuts off and so you have to press the button or switch on the saber to light up again. I used as a tree topper for my Star Wars theme Christmas Tree this year! The only thing I wish it had were the sound effects like the larger FX sabers. Overall, fun little toy and easy purchase from Amazon.

When we received it I was surprised how small it was but after getting the light on and charged, it became a lot of fun for the person we bought it for. He is 7 years old. He immediately wanted to watch a Star Wars movie and then keep it charged for morning while he slept. He also likes to take it in the car at night with him when we are driving.
The minute he woke up he asked if he could go get the light saber out of the stand. It has definitely been worth the purchase for the joy it brought to him.

dont much care for this lightsaber

i bought this so i could light up my keyboard when playing a game well i put the lightsaber right next to the keyboard and it still wasn't bright enough for me to see the keys. its a cool little toy but for the price i don't think its worth it. its about 12 inches long 1/2 inch thick. I'm thinking about returning it i was hoping to light up my desk well its doesn't hopefully this will help someone before the go out and buy it
