Finally found the battery compartment! 9 Jan. 2011
By Bodie's Mom - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
How incredibly frustrating! The instructions do not tell you where the battery compartment is. I had to google it -- turn the toy upside and there is a barrel shaped surface between the two rear legs with one screw. My 5-yr. old son just opened this for his birthday present and seems to enjoy playing with it, but struggles to open the hatch, and the legs do tend to fall off if you're not being gentle. Not sure it was worth $40. Luke Skywalker is sold separately too.

Wish the legs wouldn't fall off! 22 Sept. 2010
By Missy Brighton - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Would have given a higher rating if it weren't for the frustrated screams from my five year old when the legs fall off and he can't put them back on. (The legs have numbers on them, so when I pointed that out, it was easier for him to reassemble them himself). Also, don't expect it to really "walk" on it's own. Still, the secret compartments and trap doors are a huge hit. You may want to make sure you have a couple of other Galactic Hero figures around - my son went running to find another action figure since the guy it comes with doesn't fit so well in the driver's seat.

Great Looking Toy, horrible battery life. 9 Oct. 2010
By Mark - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
The toy is very cool, and my 3 year old son loves it, but the batteries stay in use if the switch is not turned off. There are no noises of lights, it just drains. The Falcon version of this toy has an auto shut-off that saves batteries. So if you forget to flip the switch once you are done playing with it (like any 3 year old would forget), then expect to replace the batteries on a daily basis.

New Galactic Hero Toy- 11 Aug. 2010
By TBlach - Published on Amazon.com
Verified Purchase Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
I bought this toy for my son's 5th birthday as he is a Star Wars nut! It's a great toy to add to his growing Galactic Hero collection. I will say that the legs aren't as sturdy as I though they would be. They do fall off. They go back on easily but wanted to note it in my review. We have many other Galactic Hero "ships" and we love that series as they are more durable and sturdy.

Star Wars Galactic Heroes AT-AT Playset 5 Dec. 2010
By Ronald Vincent E. Mandapat - Published on Amazon.com
Verified Purchase Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
My son really loves this. It's our first Galactic Heroes Playset. The AT-AT is soooo cool! It's big, and play value with all our other Galactic Heroes is endless. Would like to purchase a few more, eventually.
