Book Description

17 Dec 2010 Star Wars. the Clone Wars
Behind enemy lines, Jedi Knight Aayla Secura's covert mission is threatened by an encounter with Shon-Ju-a former Padawan turned cult leader. Shon-Ju claims to be after the same Separatist warlord that Aayla was sent to capture, but he also has plenty of reasons to hate the Republic and the Jedi. The Force is with Aayla, but she may need more than her lightsaber against The Deadly Hands of Shon-JuA"!

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent Clone Wars adventure 9 Mar 2014
By No More Mr. Mice Guy TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback
This is an excellent Clone Wars adventure comic. The style of the artwork of this 72-page comic-book is heavily influenced by the animated Clone Wars TV / DVD series. It is a well-written adventure story with excellent characterisation, involving Jedi Knight Aayla Secura, who is sent on a mission to capture the weapons dealer Attuma Duum. However, her party of clone Troopers are killed by Duum’s security chief before she can get close, and she only escapes when rescued by Shon-Ju, leader of a group of people who possess abilities with the Force, but have been rejected by the Jedi academy for various reasons. Shon-Ju helps Secura to penetrate the heavily guarded base, but Duum has lured a Republic and a Rebel fleet into combat near his base, which he has seeded with mines, in order to keep the conflict going and sell more weapons to both sides. Can the two saboteurs complete their mission and also warn the Republic’s fleet of its danger in time?

As my title suggests, not much happens in this very brief graphic novel. It is ok, just not worth the money! Amazon's description of the plot pretty much sums it up...not much else happens. If you like the main character, Aayla Secura, you might want to buy this cheap, but otherwise it's not really worth the money! It really adds little to the Star Wars saga...
