Format:DVD
I love these movies. I saw them when the opened in the theater. And am happy that this set is a Widescreen release. These are a must see. I enjoyed the bonus features. Enhanced graphics and sound editing was done to clean up and extend the movies.
Now the reason I gave the movies a 4 star instead of 5. The box says Star Wars Trilogy. I thought I was buying them as they were released in the theater. Do not get me wrong, these are good movies. But it is not what I thought I was buying. These go beyond just the added scenes Mr. Lucas added in the earlier extended versions he released. He has actually created new scenes that never existed and added them. As well as re-wrote some dialogue. Yes I may sound like a purest, but I am not. I just think that the set should have been marked appropriately. Now that you know, you can make an informed decision on whether or not to purchase. But you must see these regardless.

Its the same DVDs with a gold box. Thats it. Nothing more. Only thing different is that if you bought this then you likely paid more if it was from his masters voice than you would have from Amazon. I guess there is one born every minute. Feeble attempt by His Masters Voice to hang onto customers by overpricing DVDs & selling them as exclusive when it is just a different colour.

Description wasn't too clear about the DVD's being the updated one's, but still I can't complain, the films are still great and there was literally no marks/scratches/damage to the DVD's or the cases!

A Real Collectors Item
This Box Set was released exclusive to HMV back in 2004 and sold out within a few weeks. This is a must have for any serious Star Wars Fan to include in there DVD collection.
