Star Wars Battlefront II for PSP is similar to its recently announced console counterpart with space combat, playable Jedi, and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith content, yet it still boasts several distinct features meant to embrace the on-the-go nature of a handheld system. The game includes several unique mini-campaigns as opposed to the much longer campaign seen on consoles. Players can join the Rebellion as a smuggler, work for themselves as a mercenary for hire, or use their Imperial sniping skills to rid the galaxy of pesky species like Jawas, Ewoks and Gungans. Wi-Fi compatibility permits up to four players to join in at once, either cooperatively or competitively, and they can also partake in classic Instant Action mode to fight their favourite Star Wars battles any way they want to.

This is my first time at writing a review but its about quite a good game i brought this game by accident insted of the PS2 version but i later got a PSP, overall its a good game. There are a few things wrong with it though, the controls have 4 different modes defult,basic,advanced and retro on advanced and retro you can roll but on basic and defualt you cant this make using the controls difficult if youve got used to 1 set and want to be able to roll,also on the first game you have free acsses to wookies and jet troopers but on this one you dont you have to get points to get them why did the makers do that? , that aside though its a Amazing game the graphics are good and the missions were you can be a rouge assassin, impereal inforcer and rebel raider are really fun but the best thing is you get to be a jedi!! I hope i was of help to whoever reads this

I got this game several years ago, and am still playing it. The galactic conquest and instant play mode are excellent, with enough maps to keep you satisfied. The graphics are pretty good for the psp (I won't lie, the trees are very much 2D, but ignoring them, they're alright, nothing on ps3 graphics, but this is a handheld console, what do you expect). The Challenge mode is quite repetitive though. The ai is pretty good, very easy to get on normal, and an easy challenge on expert.
Ignore any other reviews saying this game is bad, it's my favourite , and I have a large selection.

Do not Buy!!
It is rubbish the controls are rubbish, the graphics is not good at all.
I would recommend Renegade Squadron or Elite Squadron
