Both of these episodes are great, the firts 'Fury' with Kes has impressive special effects and an impressive unexpected story line - who could have thought that sweet Kes could have become so spiteful ? Acting is especially good from Tim Russ (Tovok), Kate Mulgrew (captain Janeway) and surprising Kes, who was always week in the first through third seasons. It was also thather good to see the Vidians again after so long. Lifeline is also a very good episode, not much opertunity for special effects but the ones they had were brilliant, especially the opening sequence and Jupiter station. This episode allowed it to get deaper into the character Lewis Zimmermans psyche and thus also into the doctors it was moving and funny at the same time, something voyager is very good at. Also the subect of the Maquis was brought up only briefly and thier condition on a return to Earth - possibly a prelude to things to come ? Both very good and enjoyable episodes, not the best but certainly not the worst.

Two more fantastic epiodes both featuring special guest stars, namely KES, DEANNA TROI, and REG BARCLAY!! In 'FURY', Kes has changed a lot since she left the show (volume 4.1), shes now very, very angry! And will stop at nothing until voyager is destroyed!! 'LIFELINE' see's the doctor transmitted back to the alpha quadrant where he must try and save his creator, Dr Lewis Zimmerman with a little help from Troi and Barclay!! Both episodes are great, with the welcoming back of some old friends!!

The return of Kes (Fury) is an episode that we as fans have been waiting to see for some time, however it was not as easy to watch as some would say. But in all an enjoyable episode. Lifeline is a return to the Alpha quadrant for the Doctor. He was played again very well and his role as Dr Zimmerman was very good.
