The price of these scissors seems to vary quite a bit as they go in and out of stock. I got hold of some at a little more than a pound delivered. At that price they are a use for six months and throw away when they lose their edge type of product. I know that offends some people who prefer long lasting quality, but given how difficult it is to sharpen scissors there is a market for disposable.
So are they any good? The answer is yes - they seem incredibly sharp when you first get them. They are good for the kitchen and for cutting paper. You can tighten the connecting screw if it loosens (hasn't happened to my sets yet), and the weight and feel (rubber handles rather than plastic) is good - certainly doesn't strike you as bargain basement cheap.
All in all then I can recommend these as cheap but effective.
