Product Description

This novella serves as an introduction to the Star One series of books. There is currently an updated and more extended version available in Star One: Tycho City Survival.

Mase Colton had worked for years in the harsh unforgiving environment of the Moon building Tycho City. Now, with the completion of the Farside observatory complex, a deadly danger to the Moon and Earth has been discovered. A neutron star is about to enter the Solar System.

Can Mase Colton and his counter part, Steve Larson on the Star One space station, find a way to preserve a small segment of humanity against this deadly danger? It's a race against time and the politicians on Earth who refuse to believe in the approaching neutron star.

This is a novella of 20,000 words that introduces the Star One series.

New to this author, started with the slave war series, and I am now enjoying
The star one series, To me the storyline in his books are good, so I am interested in further books by this author.
We are all different so his writing style will not please everyone, but to me what is important is whether I enjoy the book or not and I do like this author's books

3.0 out of 5 stars Great story but...... 10 Jun 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Really enjoyed the actual story but the writing style can be very hard going. Repetition is very high especially the terms, mass driver and neutron star, there are ways of referring to an object without necessarily naming it every time.
The science in the story is quite believable but unlikely by 2044 but then this genre is science fiction!
In essence I quite enjoyed this book and may read the following two but if the writing style is the same I may not make it through them both.
