Okay i think we have all come into contact with some of those pens that stink up the room and make you feel slightly light headed after persistent use. This is definitely not one of them.
I use this pen in my bedroom and i have never had any solvent like smell, even during use. In fact i may go out on a limb and say this is probably quite safe to use for young children. In addition the pen writes well. The ink isn't too oily or greasy on your fingers but does run smoothly as you write and it stays strong and clear on the board. However at the same time the ink is very easy to wipe off just a tissue is enough, though you may need a bit of soapy water to get rid of things that have been on the board for several weeks.
The only negatives is the fact that the blue ink isn't as vibrant as the other inks. Not such a problem for me.
I haven't used the ink enough to test its life span but i'm sure it will be normal. Also as a quick not that the pack contains 3 of each colour not 4-4-2-2.

A major consideration for buying this was the ability to wipe without leaving any marks.
The results are just what I was hoping for - easy to clean with any cloth I have tried so far.

No big deal, good value
No big deal about these pens, very lightweight bog-standard, incredibly cheap though, they're going at £3.55 for 12 now, which makes them a good bargain if you're after quantity.
