My impressions of Masters of the Force are mixed, so far.
The first thing I noticed was the extreme weight of the boosters--weighed down by the large Dejarik monsters.
Three of my first four boosters had two Dejarik monsters each. And all four contained the Mantellian Savrip common Dejarik monster.
As far as I can tell, the Dejarik monsters are just average big Fringe monsters and have no outstanding special abilities. Does one of the eight have a bonus that applies to the other Dejarik monsters? No idea.
I had pretty good luck with my rares and very rares I bought. I pulled the Force Spirits of Anakin (why is he Rebel faction?) and Yoda, and the new armorless Imperial faction Darth Vader (which I hoped would be Sith faction and is pretty similar to Imperial Sith Anakin from RotS) and Saesee Tiin, who's not bad.
Aside from the rares and VRs and the Dejarik monsters, I wasn't too impressed with most of the commons and uncommons I've gotten so far. I've always liked Gammoreans and the Jedi Instructor isn't bad, but other than that they seem like filler.
I'm still curious about General Solo, Rebel Lando, the new Mace Windu and Kit Fisto, Freedon Nadd and Kaleesh Grievous.
Overall, I think this last set of SWM went out with sort of a whimper. But after buying more MotF boosters, my opinions may change.
