This is the gold standard book for basic sciences to cover before the FRCS trauma/orth. While there are chapters in other books and many topics can be covered elsewhere nothing comes close to the easy structure and content here. There may be a few topics needing expansion in due course but nothing that will be a deal breaker. Sitting the exam or looking to get read up as a junior reg: get it!

Nicely written in short chapters for easier consumption. Good for the exams but not much more, as it has very little practical application in day to day practice
