It's hard to believe that there could be such a thing as a cult hammer, but the Fubar 2 is it. It makes destroying things - big strong things made out of masonry or wood - fast, fun, easy, and relatively safe. And it looks like a prop from Escape From New York or an Evil Dead film - what's not to like?
It's surprisingly usable as a nail driving hammer, thanks to its excellent balance, but what it is really designed to do is destroy things . Which it does, superbly. The Fubar is a sort of super wrecking bar and demolition hammer - you can attack wood or masonry with axe blows, embedding the head, and then exert enormous leverage on whatever you just hit. Oh, and it has a nailer puller, a hammer head, and set of jaws that provide another way of tearing things apart with torsion.
That's the secret of the Foobar - the way it combines the bash and the tear to get maximum synergy. BASH! and that lethal head is deeply embedded in whatever it is you're destroying; then it's t-e-a-r and instead of wasting effort pulling the head out, you've used the Foobar's wonderfully ergonomic leverage to make a bloody big hole in something.
