This is a good, sturdy product, with plenty of room to store all your tools in. This tool box is kind of like a travel case - with it's wheel and handle design, but what's great about this product (and as the name suggests), is that it's a chest. That means you can just chuck all your tools in without having to memorise how to fit the hammer in under the drill, so you can fit the saw in down the side of the screwdriver set leaving space for the spirit level to rest on top (like some sort of giant jigsaw puzzle), just so you can fit the lid back on. There's plenty of space just to chuck everything in. And you can fit lots in too.
The wheels and handle mean that - however heavy it gets - you can just wheel it in and out of the cupboard (or to the car) with ease - without breaking your back. It's well made and the plastic compartments on the lid make a handy storage space for all the little things like screws and pencils. So no more fishing around for things at the bottom of the tray. They're all there easily accessible and ready to hand.
This is a good price for a good product. One I'd expect to pay more for; especially given the price of some toolboxes. And the only minor negative I can think of (I'm being really picky here), is I'd like the upper tray to be a touch deeper - but just a touch - other than that, this is almost perfect. It might be more than most people need around the house, as it is quite big, but if your in trade I'm sure it would be ideal. I'm not though - and if like me you have the space under the stairs, I'd get one of these over a normal, smaller tool box any day of the week. And you should have the space, because the sturdy handle slides away nice and neatly. The extra space you get with this box - sorry chest - means you can keep adding to your tool kit too, knowing you don't have to worry about if you're new bit of kit will fit in your box... sorry - chest.
