Good: the movies are in very good shape, and I trust mr Kubrick would enjoy how superb his work looks and sounds in a normal living room. Some of the extras are also of interest.
Bad: some of the extras display all sorts of Hollywood vermin paying sycophantic homage, an absolute disgrace. The disk menus are also clumsy and unimaginative, shamefully unfitting to such works of excellence and vision. The old man would not approve, and I certainly don't. The awkward box also stinks of publisher greed and disregard for the article's longevity.
Verdict: an affordable must for any cinema lover with a stomach for strong ideas and images, unfortunately smeared with the same garbage the author struggled all his life against. A few universal masterpieces in mint condition, pity about the unpleasant aftertaste.
