In truth I bought this as a nice looking piece of kit to have rather than because I needed it - I've got other tools that will do each of the jobs that this will. That said, I have been building a vegetable enclosure (wooden fence with wire dug into ground etc) and this has come in useful - handy as a hammer, handy to get wood apart when I've gone wrong, handy to get long nails out - handy that one piece of kit can do all of these jobs.
It has proved pretty useful - please be aware that it is a big piece of kit - it's not going to fit in your standard 'multi-purpose' tool-kit.
