I would have given this tape five stars but it has metric on both sides and, being of a certain age, I would have preferred both metric and imperial, other then that it is very good. On the tape I had before there was a D ring which was useful to hang it on a nail or something when measuring on your own. This however, has an L shaped bracket with little teeth like prongs which at first, I thought wouldn't be much help but I have found it extremely useful.The prongs grip bricks, wood etc and most importantly, stays gripped until I remove it. The case is strong and being yellow is easily found in grass and on building sites.

I needed this to measure gardens and after looking at the comments on some cheaper ones, I decided to go for the Stanley and not dissapointed. The product is great - firm case, tape is easy to read and clean and looks like it will last a long time.
