5.0 out of 5 stars clever capers of Stanley 5 Jan 2008
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Just bought this book again after foolishly parting with it (and other Bob Wilson masterpieces) when my children got "too old" for Stanley and his adventures - what a mistake!
Wonderful imagery, detail, cheeky asides: As good if not better than when I read it out loud to my youngsters. Buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A family favourite 11 Dec 2009
Format:Paperback
This book is brilliant for children of all ages (adults love it too!). Written in rhyming couplets it's best read aloud in a faux northern accent - or a real one! The whole book is presented like an old fashioned comic strip and the illustrations are genius. There are lots of "insider" jokes which Bagshaw fans will recognise as they appear in most of the stories. My grown up children loved these and I am now buying them for the next generation!!
