Marnie Price’s guide to surviving the bridesmaid blues...

1. Get a new man

2. Find a new job

3. When in doubt, drink wine!

Having watched her three closest friends all find love, Southern belle Marnie Price feels as if she’s the only single girl left. Luckily she’s found a solution – one sizzling night with Dylan Brookes.

This man wears a wedding tux better than anyone, but all Marnie wants to do is get beneath it!

Dylan is all about making the sensible choice, and a fling with his ex’s friend Marnie is about as far from sensible as he can get! Marnie might prove to him that taking risks is worth it, but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to give up his bachelor status quite yet, does it... ?

More About the Author

Kimberly Lang isn't one of those people who always knew she wanted to be a writer. She actually wanted to be a ballerina, but puberty failed to deliver the required swan-like elegance. That dream scuttled, she went on to get her Master's Degree in English - and she has the bartending skills to prove it. At her husband's insistence, she quit teaching in 2007 to write full-time, and in May 2008, sold her first book to Harlequin's London office. That book, The Secret Mistress Arrangement, debuted at number nine on the Borders Series Bestseller list and won the 2009 National Readers' Choice Award for Best First Book.

Since then, Kimberly's books have appeared on the USA Today, Amazon, Borders, and Bookscan bestseller lists, and have been translated into more than a dozen languages. (And, yes, that's really cool.)

She's married to her college sweetheart, whom she affectionately (but appropriately) calls her Darling Geek, and is Mom to the most brilliant and beautiful child on the planet (aptly nicknamed Amazing Child). She started taking yoga-based fitness because she eats way too many jelly beans while writing, and became an instructor once she figured out that spending time with her butt over her head helped spark her creativity. More than one sticky plot point has been solved in the Down Dog position. She has no hobbies because she doesn't have time, but if she did, they'd include knitting, skiing and ballroom dancing, because they sound like they might be fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome contemporary romance 6 Oct. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition

It is unusual to stumble across a contemporary romance series which is perfect in every way, even rarer to find such a perfect series in which each book is written by a different author but by jove I've found one.

This series, for me, was the definition of perfect in every way, there was a great mix of characters and whilst the focus of each book was of course on the Hero and Heroine and their romance, there was also a large part of each book dedicated to the friendship between the 4 girls, both in present time and in flashback to when they were at uni. I loved how their friendship helped shape them and was entwined with who they ended up finding their HEA.

The 'Last Groom Standing' was a great end to the series. With the other 3.5 books in the series, the attraction between the guy and the gal has been instantaneous but what made this book interesting was the fact that on the face of it Marnia and Dylan, whilst attracted to each other, were not compatible and didn't immediately fall headlong into love. *spoiler alert* Of course by the end they overcome their differences and get their HEA.

It was bittersweet to finish this book - I had been looking forward to this book for so long but now am sad there are no books to look forward to in this series.

I'm really going to miss the Awesome Foresome. Manie's story didn't disappoint and as I'd read the whole series and watched her grow, I couldn't be happier to see her end up with Dylan! Fantastic ending to a great series. I'll be revisiting these girls over and over in the future!

I have now read the whole series and I am happy to say I loved all of them. I was so glad Marnie changed her attitude about Gina. She was so uptight and unrepentant about Gina and her brother that the only one losing out was her.
