Format: Audio CD
This is a wonderful album - her best yet. Liane Carroll's voice is fantastic and her artistry on the piano superb. The choice of songs is varied, some her own renditions of old pop songs, others jazz and blues standards. Liane Carroll gives her own unmistakable personal touch to each. "He's a Runner" should be a single. This is an album you will play to the end then just press play again.

Liane Carroll is a hugely talented musician and this album is brillant. Her style and sound are genius, her voice is a rare gem. She was voted BBC Jazz Vocalist of 2005, and let's hope she wins again this year!

I saw Liane's husband Roger Carey, who plays bass on this album, at the Rye Jazz Festival and he totally blew me away. I wanted to listen to his playing again so I picked up this CD. I was totally unprepared for the brilliance of Liane and her band. My jaw dropped from the very first track and the album has not been off the player since. Liane's voice is just stunning. I cannot comprehend how she is not an international household name. She is an incredible talent and I am thrilled to have discovered her music. And Roger's playing is amazing too!
