More About the Author

Tylluan Penry is a solitary pagan witch, author, independent scholar and rune reader. She has so far written and published eight books on the pagan path:

Seeking the Green (2008) [published by Capall Bann]
The Magical Properties of Plants... and how to find them' (2009) [published by Capall Bann]
The Essential Guide to Psychic Self Defence (2010) [published by Capall Bann]
Magic on the Breath (2011) [published by The Wolfenhowle Press]
Staying on the Old Track (2012) [published by The Wolfenhowle Press]There are many books to help us when we're starting out, but what happens once we've made a start and then ground to a halt? Tylluan knows only too well from the letters and emails she receives, that this is a common problem and is one of the reasons she wrote 'Staying on the Old Track.'

Tylluan also writes children's fiction with a witchy/pagan background or setting as T.P. Penry, and three of her books can be bought on Kindle:
The Dolly Run
Stalker's Moon
Silent Night, Deadliest Night

Tylluan's interests and knowledge are wide-ranging and eclectic. Plants, Psychic Self Defence, Runes, the ancient Classical World and ever further back into the Iron, Bronze and even Ice Ages, Anglo Saxon Charms and even writing one's own spells and rituals, are all things that fascinate her.

Life is never dull around Tylluan, she knows it's the little things that inspire, that make the Craft come alive and dance! She is a wife, mother and grandmother, and combines being down to earth and practical with a sense of calm and inner wisdom. Basically she is everything a wise woman should be - plus she has a wicked sense of humour!

You can catch up with Tylluan on her blog at http://tylluanpenry.blog.co.uk or in the forum of Children of Artemis (http://www.witchcraft.org/forums/index.php) or the Pagan Forum (http://www.paganforum.com). She is also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/tylluan.penry
