4.0 out of 5 stars Good, useful read. 17 April 2012

This came up as a suggestion when I bought other books on preaching for my essay, and I bought it mainly out of curiosity as the author is minister at a local church and I have met him. It is a nice, easy read, with a good overview of basics, and some interesting suggestions for livening up a sermon menu. I enjoyed it, it is very accessible and practical, but not a hugely detailed theological tome if that's what you're looking for.
