It may well be that it has an advantage as an RFID shield, but as a wallet it has disadvantages that I did not foresee.
The main one is that a nice comfortable leather wallet fairly soon stretches a little to accomodate the cards that you keep in it so that they can extracted easily. This S/S mesh is good - it doesn't stretch at all - and you just know that it never will, so when you start off not being able to get your cards out of their slots, you just know that it will be like that forever.
There are a couple of niggly points; the corners are crimped on, but presumably because the S/S doesn't have any "give", the crimp doesn't work very well and it wasn't very long before dragging it out of jeans pockets had lost two of them. Also, where there are off stiched edges exposed, the S/S mesh is very sharp.
Overall, it is not for me - it's a pity because it will probably outlast me.
