For those eager to try their hand at a decorative glass project, Stained Glass in a Weekend is the ideal starting place. Eighteen practical projects demonstrate a range of beautiful glass techniques, including copper foil, lead, applique and etching. This book is full of ideas for easy to achieve creations which have a more rustic charm than many items presented in other books. I have made a number of the items in this book as well as many of my own designs inspired by and developed from these. Clear photographs and comprehensive but easy to read text which includes advice on where to find the apparently more obscure materials, make this a genuinely user friendly aid to a relaxing and fulfilling hobby.
