Does exactly what it says on the tin (box) 18 Dec 2007

This is a microphone cable, and does exactly what it says on the tin. I bought it as part of turning my computer into a little home studio, and needed it to plug the mic into the sound-card/mixer equipment I bought. The connection at either end is XLR (ie it extends the connection on the microphone). This means whatever you're plugging it into needs an XLR (circular with three pins) socket. The cable is 20 ft in length, and fairly heavy duty.

Very poor quality 29 July 2011

The male end of this inexpensive lead was such a tight fit in my video camera that I returned the lead, fearing that if would damage the camera. The supplier sent a different lead, which also had the same problem. I presume this is because cheap XLR plus and sockets are used.

I gave up at this point and purchased a lead from Maplin, (for more money) which is perfect.

I cannot fault the supplier who tried to please.

Although the Microphone came in its original box it was packed loose inside a shoe box. So it must have been shaken about. I was not impressed by the packaging.
I am slowing buying all the gear to go out singing, so i havent tried the product yet.
