4.0 out of 5 stars Still sounds fresh... 24 July 2006
By P. Philips VINE VOICE
Format:Audio CD
I bought this CD in 1994 when it was released, on the strength of the 'Switch' single. I hadn't played it for years as I lost this copy, and found it again recently. It doesn't sound at all dated, in fact I think it was quite ahead of its time with its rap/metal/dance mix. Recommended then, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the album does sound a bit uneven at times,as the band abruptly change style between tracks.

This is a minor criticism though. Buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this album 17 April 2003
Format:Audio CD
For those of you into your Linkin Parks, Limp Biscuits, Papa Roaches... buy this album. For those of you not into the aforementioned bands... buy this album. They have been there, seen that, bought the T-shirt AND written the record long before any of our transatlantic cousins had even dreamed on mixing Hip-hop with Metal. This album truly is a class above anything the US bands have released - genuine quality rapping, social comment and musicianship mixed with a real feeling of not wishing to "sell out" pervade the entire record. But don't worry, if you just want to switch off from the worlds problems and tap you feet (or perhaps bang you head), then this is still the one for you. I could bang on about the different tracks but whats the point ? If you like your music challenging but always entertaining then you can't go wrong. If of course you prefer Westlife, then go buy a Busted/Good Charlottes/Avril Livigne record - they're all nice and jolly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reminiscence 12 Nov 2004
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Saw Senser at a mini festival in New Cross (of all places) in the late 80's and loved them. Still have the old vinyl 12"'s of The Key and Eject and a 'No Comply' T'shirt stuffed in a drawer somewhere.
Agree with the guys - if you like Linkin Park style hip-hop mixed with heavy rock you'll love this. But you MUST turn it up loud!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most underrated albums ever 9 July 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Everybody who borrowed this album off me went out and bought it. That just about says it all. When Senser get heavy, they are a cut above anything that nu-metal has to offer. When they chill out, they provide some of the most uplifting dance tunes. all of this with more than a touch of lyrical savvy and social comment. This would definitely make my all time top 5 favourite album list.
