3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not great either 18 Jan 2010

I have to say this book starts out OK, but towards the ends it seems like the author loses interest and pretty much skips over the last section in the film, and it ends differetly to the film version as well. It's a pity this hasn't been novelised properly, as I think if it had been fleshed out in to a proper novel it would have been a good book to read. OK, so it is basicly a kids book, but I seriously doubt even a kid will find this particular book all that intersting to be honest.

As a fan of the original series of films, I always thought turning them into a series of novels would be a good move - but this book ain't that move.

I was dissapointed; I expected the book to be humorous, but it was not. There is some humour in the movie, but not in the book. Definitely not for children. Give it a miss.
