I bought this lock for the shed where I keep my bike. It was simple to fit, is strong and the mechanism moves very smoothly. It was very good value for money.

Lovely build. Great product. But it broke after probably 30 uses. The pins went funny inside. I havent returned it yet but will. The construction was very good so just hoping I got unlucky. I have ordered another one and will see how it goes. After it took a good hour to drill the broken lock off I have faith that it will be secure !
Having replaced the first one which jammed as stated above. The second one has done the same after being used maybe a dozen times. I had to drill and grind it to get it off and drive a 250 mile round trip to do this. Very disappointing. Now I have a door with 2 holes in the door frame and holes from the lock, not to mention the odd grinder mark. I have replaced the lock with an insurance approved Yale keyed lock.
Very poor, will see how Squire respond when I return them, haven't had time yet.

if you lock your shed and cant remember where you left your key this will help, providing you can remember the 4 digit code you set up! It was easy to install but beware it comes with special screw heads that can only be tightened and not undone for obvious reasons!! So get it lined up first time. Not sure if it can be wrenched of easily by a determined thief but it does present a barrier for insurance purposes. Nice smooth action. Would buy another.
