Fun:
I was a fan of Dugeon Siege 1 and Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna in the PC. But number 3 just killed it, I really did not enjoy the game and sold it the day after buying. Bad graphics, bad story and so on.
If you have a computer I would defiantly recommend buying the DS 1 and 2, as they are excellent.

Fun:
dungeon siege 3 is just another popular series title "used" as a means to gain a quick buck with a poor quality game. As the game itself is concerned the visuals can be stunning at times especially within the darker regions of the game however alot of areas seem to be lacking the same quality and frankly lack luster.
The combat gameplay can be fun but it's very shortlived and soon becomes tedious and boring. The skill tree gives you the illusion of choice with a big fancy looking skill tree which is nothing more than 3 sets of 3 skills for your light, heavy, and defensive stances which you can upgrade, there's very little diversity that can achieved with any of the 4 classes.
the story and gameplay leaves alot to be desired about the only time you'll be having fun is with a boss encouter which is about the only time ull get a shred of storytelling and abit of challenging gameplay all the bits inbetween are poor scripted dialog choice events and slayin paper armies with no real effort.
The co-op gameplay adds some element of fun to the game being able to play with a freind is alway a bonus but when you finally think you're about to have some fun the problems begin. First off the camera during co-op play is restricted with awful claustrophobic views and dizzyingly quick camera movement as you pass objects and walls.
Secondly quests, when on a quest co-op unless your the host dont expect a reward on completion as you come to hand a quest the npc only acknowledges the host and youll recieve exp but any item from the quest will be given directly to the host.
thirdly your character in co-op, you cannot tranfer your character to other peoples games which basicly means ull have to start a new char every time you play with a diffrent friend and any progress you made with them will be only on the hosts save game and not your own. Which means if your co-op buddy is not in it for the long haul dont bother play solo. About the only thing ull gain from co-op if ur not the host is trophies so remember people it pays to be the host in ds3.
A damming review but nothing less than it deserves with all the school boy errors, my adivice is either wait its selling for next to nothing or buy dungeon hunter alliance for a decent co-op dungeon crawler.

I liked the first DungeonSiege on the PC...but this one is very dissappointing Graphix, Gameplay, Story...not up to expectations of our time. Waste of money
