I love this sweater because it is extremely warm with its fleece lining and fashionable with its sophisticated cable knit exterior design. I also love, love the fact that it has exterior and interior pockets. On my last ski trip (temperature was 17-27 degrees F), I wore this sweater as a mid-layer with a wool thermal base layer top underneath and was incredibly warm. In fact, I didn't need to wear my ski jacket because I was so warm. I bought this sweater in white, black, and pout (I ended up returning the pout because the color in real life was more of a bright pink/fuschia than what was portrayed on my laptop monitor), and bought this sweater in Coast for my daughter. If I could wish for Spyder to make one change, it would be to remove the Spyder logo on the front and back. I'm just not a big logo fan and the fact that the logos are so visible actually limit the wearability of this sweater. Absent the logos, I would definitely wear this sweater to non-sporty events because the cable knit has a very sophisticated look to it.
This sweater has a very feminine fit to it because it is cut close to the body unlike other sweaters that look unisex. It isn't boxy at all so if you don't want a sweater that is form fitted and figure hugging, I would consider ordering one size up. I am 5'3" and 105-110 pounds and the XS was a perfect fit for me. (The Small would have been OK except that the shoulders were too broad on me.) The length of the sweater is about hip length so it's not too short and not too long. The sleeve length was as expected. Personally, I don't like to zip the sweater all the way up to my chin because I find it stifling, but it kept me warm even when it wasn't zipped all the way.
All in all, 5 stars!
