My ten-year old received this for her birthday just this weekend, and she loves it! She is really into Nancy Drew and is actually having a mystery birthday party, so this gift is great. All the adults were really surprised at how strong the signal is and how well we could hear through walls and doors. Needless to say, my daughter loves this toy!! Only thing I worry about is now she can listen to all our private conversations...

I bought this from target for 20 bucks. I bought it for my son for xmas but ended up using it myself. you can hear things that you wouldn't be able to hear otherwise. I suspected that my neighbor had a listening device and was using it on me so when i saw this I thought it would be cool and I could also return the favor ;) I do really like it and I think Ive been using it more then my son. I use my own headphones with it instead. I guess Ill have to buy him another. whatever you do dont buy it on amazon although I would pay 30 plus if I really had to. totally worth it.

Got this toy for Christmas for my step-son and we are very disappointed in the quality. Despite the expensive price, this toy is NOT worth it. It does not work at all, cannot hear anything at all with the earbud. Very disappointed and will be contacting the manufacturer.
