Product Description

Product Description

Triple bill of children's spy adventures. In 'Spy Kids' (2001), super-spies Gregorio (Antonio Banderas) and Ingrid (Carla Guigino) have given up their lives of intrigue and adventure in order to raise their children Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara). But Gregorio has invented a special artificial brain, and sinister super-villain Fegan Floop (Alan Cumming) needs this brain in order to bring his army of robots to life and complete his plans for world domination. So Floop kidnaps Gregorio and Ingrid, leaving it up to the kids Carmen and Juni to come to the rescue. Thus they embark upon an adventure which involves rocket planes, remote-control submarines, electric chewing gum, and robot dopplegangers as they advance towards Floop's secret headquarters, ready to save both their parents and the liberty of the free world. In 'Spy Kids 2 - The Island of Lost Dreams' (2002), Gregorio and Ingrid are back in business - but this time it is Carmen and Juni who are enlisting their help to save the world from destruction. The kids are now official OSS spies, and once again they are on the trail of a mad scientist (Steve Buscemi), who, after a botched experiment, lives on a secluded island with a gang of mutant creatures. The siblings still bicker - but having learnt a lot from their last mission, they are more clued up on how to deal with these pesky adults. In the third film in the trilogy, Spy Kids 3 - Game Over' (2003), Carmen is kidnapped by the evil Toymaker (Sylvester Stallone) and imprisoned inside a virtual reality game. It's up to Juni to venture into the game and save his sister from the villain's clutches...

I bought these for my 4 year old to watch with us as he is fascinated by gadgets, hero's and science. We have watched them countless times now, number 3 is his favorite, I think my favorite is number 1. I would recommend these films for kids young and old as the story lines are simple enough for the younger ones but not so much that they will bore the bigger kids. Adults will have fun spotting actors they are used to seeing in bigger budget films and tv shows. If you like these I also recommend "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl".

Bought this for my 11 year old son. He has just finished watching the set and has enjoyed all three movies. I don't think you can say that about many sequels. These are fun action packed movies and even my 7 year old daughter sat through these without complaint.
Ours was a three disc boxed set with no 3D disc. See other review.

My Daughter had already seen one of the 'Spy Kids' films and has really enjoyed the trilogy. Good value for money and great for keeping the kids entertained on sleepovers!

This dvd is great but when i read about it, it said it was the 4 disc set with spy kids 3 game over in 3D but when it arrived it was the 3 disc set without the 3D version of spy kids 3. But apart from that it a good box set

Really good set of DVD's - we took them on a wet half term boating holiday with 13 and 9 year old grandsons. We all enjoyed watching them in the evenings, even the older one who had seen them before. I appreciated watching the progression of the story and effects through the trilogy and would definitely recommend this package.

My kids went to the cinema to see the last two films and watched the first one on dvd. They are big fans so I bought this box set. Fantastic value and good fun for everyone. It's hard to believe Robert Rodriguez created the films as well as directed as he is better known for his Mexican trilogy and from Dusk till Dawn with Quentin Tarantino. (Recently directing Predators) Well worth it for fans but if you have not seen it before its also worth a look. Superb family Fun and well put together.

My son received 'Spy Kids - All the Time in the World' as a gift for his birthday last year and asked me if there were any more Spy Kids films. I had no idea so did a search on Amazon and this product came up.

For less than £6 my son (and I have to admit me too) was entertained for hours! They are great family fun films.

I would definitely recommend this to parents of little budding spies everywhere!
