Having enjoyed reading The Woman in Black last summer I chose this book as one of my holiday reads. Firstly, I liked the feel of the book - the thick, bright white paper and relatively compact size. The story has delightful descriptive passages and is written in a sensitive and charming way. I empathised with the main character and some of the supporting cast as they tried to cope with the death of a loved one. I enjoyed the book and will certainly read more from Ms Hill.
