Our child is only 10 months but she already enjoys these stories, which are short enough for her to listen to all the way through but have more narrative than the lift the flap Spot books. The stories are still good fun for the adult too (the first few times anyway)and introduce (at least did to us) characters like Sam, Spot's dad. There are lots of pictures so that the child to follow the story. I think my daughter prefers the lift the flap books just now but I expect in time this book will become a favourite.
