This book is essential for all nutritional needs of athletes and everyday individuals. If you are on a sports course at uni with a nutrition unit, work with athletes or just want adequate knowledge on nutrition in sport and exercise then this is the book for you!!!

Not only does this book provide the nutrition knowledge necessary for a sports dietitian, it also gives a review of exercise physiology which is a definite necessity in the sports nutrition world.

Not for the beginning health science student at all. I had to get this book for my weight management class, which is only a 3 credit class and we only were able to cover 2 chapters the whole cover. I felt like I was reading spanish, lots of technical science terms that I had to spend most of the time looking up!!!!!!
